How to host a rooftop night for 40 without a spreadsheet
Guest lists, a poll for the date and one update on the day.

Forty people is the size where a group chat stops working and a ticketing site feels like overkill. Here's how to run it from one event page.
1. Pick the date with a poll
Create the event as Invite-only, add two or three date options as a poll, and invite your core group first. Lock the date once the votes are in.
2. Let the guest list build itself
Switch the event to Request to join if friends of friends are welcome. You approve each request, and everyone can see who's going without asking you.
3. One update on the day
Post a single host update with the door code and what to bring. Everyone going gets it as a notification. No thread, no forty replies.
- Hosting is free for events up to 300 guests
- Guests accept or decline in one tap
- Everything stays on one page, before and after
